The communities that are now available in this medium continue to amaze me. I recently joined Posh Mama.  It is an upbeat and friendly community of energetic and creative individuals.  I am delightfully amazed at the momentum and camaraderie of this group.  And as if it isn't enough fun just to be a member, they just bestowed upon me an award.  How lovely!  For those looking for non-stop fun, creativity, and friendliness, please consider joining us!

100th Post Giveaway!

This is the 100th post at The Tea Room!  I have so enjoyed creating and developing this blog.  I participated in a tea blog-a-thon and have focused on a few themes featuring related paintings.  Recently, I have posted nearly every day and will continue to post frequently.

In celebration of this milestone, I'm having a giveaway contest.  To enter, simply leave a message in the comments section.  The contest ends at 9:00 pm PDT on Friday, August 22.  The gift in this giveaway is a surprise, but here's a hint:  Think tea, art, and fairies! 

The winner will be selected randomly by my sister. You must provide a valid email address and respond to prize notification within 3 days. After 3 days, your prize will be forfeited and another winner will be notified. The winner must be able to provide a valid US/Canada mailing address for shipping.

Fairies ~ On Pastel Peach Petals

This sweet fairy stands in the center of a pastel peach flower, which is a stark contrast to the night time light in the background.  Look at the translucency of her wings.  Where will they take her next?!

Fairies ~ A Conversation on the Pond

A fairy visits with a frog; both appear to be completely at home on the pond.  How attentive they are to each other.  Oh how fun it would be to listen in to their conversation!
