If you're having tea with just one other, you can still have a tea party. Just pick a favorite platter, add cream, sugar, sweets, and some napkins that compliment the color or colors of the platter. It can be as plain or busy as you like. Consider mixing several floral patterns and then place a few live posies atop the sugar cubes. So inviting and so charming!
